Our Superhero Run is back! We’re so excited to be returning to Margate Football Club on the 14th August for a day of fun for everyone!

Find your favourite superhero, dig out your costume, and come along! If you’re not a fan of dressing up, then come as you are, you can still get involved and raise money for this fantastic charity.

The 5k and 10k take you along the seaside promenade with wonderful coastline views of Margate, include professional chip timing, managed by Sporting Events UK, and all finishers will receive an exciting medal, unique to this event.

Or, if you want a fun day out with the family, why not try the 1 mile fun run. Run a course around the nearby park, with exciting obstacles to cross and, perhaps, some villains to fight! And, of course, everyone who finishes gets a special medal, just for the Fun Run!

And, when you’re not out running, the football ground will have plenty of stalls for refreshments and fun activities, to give everyone a chance to unwind and have some fun!

Be a fundraising superhero and get sponsored for taking part.  We recommend aiming for £100 as your target.  Set up a donation page via JustGiving.  £100 could help pay for an Eye Clinic Liaison Officer to provide essential emotional and practical support within a hospital for a day.

5k Entry fee: Advanced entries: £14 affiliated club members, £16 unaffiliated
On-the-day – £20 (subject to space)

10k Entry fee: Advanced entries: £20 affiliated club members, £22 unaffiliated
On-the-day – £25 (subject to space)

Fun Run: £4.50 per entry

ADVANCED ENTRIES OPEN UNTIL 1PM THE MONDAY BEFORE THE EVENT. ON THE DAY ENTRIES FOR THE 10K AND 5K OPEN UNTIL 9:30AM ONLY, IF SPACE AVAILABLE. ON THE DAY ENTRIES FOR THE FUN RUN OPEN UNTIL 10:30AM ONLY, IF SPACE AVAILABLE. ENTRIES AFTER THIS TIME CAN NOT BE ACCEPTED.

Under UK Athletics rules the minimum age for the 5k run is 11 years on the day, the 10k run is 15 years on the day. There is no age restriction for the Family Fun Run.
