At a time of much uncertainty for business, both economically and politically, there is more value than ever in local business leaders coming together to exchange ideas and opportunities.
With this in mind Kent Invicta Chamber, along with its Patrons, stage a series of dinner events to enable like-minded business leaders to gather in an informal and relaxed environment.
There are four events across the year and a select number of senior business people from Kent’s leading businesses and organisations are invited to take part.
The next Kent Business Leaders Dinner will be held on Thursday 11th July from 6.00pm to 9.30pm at The Orangery, Turkey Mill, Maidstone.
The Orangery is a beautiful venue space based in the grounds of Turkey Mill, a former paper mill and has arched windows reaching from floor to ceiling, giving superb views of the garden landscapes.
Keynote Speaker: Barbara Cooper, Corporate Director Growth
Environment and Transport, Kent County Council
Barbara has worked in local government for over 20 years and has managed a range of services in the London boroughs of Kingston upon Thames, Croydon and Bromley and in Portsmouth City Council and Swale Borough Council.
Barbara’s role includes responsibility for the performance of front line services. The services include economic development, highways, waste, planning, environment, community safety, trading standards, arts and sports.
Attendance is by invitation only
Tickets to participate in this next Kent Business Leaders Dinner cost just £53.00 (+ VAT) and are fully inclusive of a drink on arrival, 3 course meal, wine and coffee with petit fours. The Chamber feels that it is vital that our local business leaders come together in this way and this dinner series should not be a profit driven activity, hence the ticket price has been set at ‘cost’.
We hope to encourage all our guests to talk freely and to exchange opinions and ideas in a confidential and supportive environment. As a result, we ask guests to respect that this event is held under ‘Chatham House’ rules.
If you are not able to come and still want your business to be represented, please do send a colleague. I would ask, however, that your nominated representative meets the attendance criteria for the event by holding a Director level position, or equivalent, within your organisation.
Staged by Kent Invicta Chamber of Commerce, in association with KICC Patrons.
