We are a charitable non-profit organisation based in Kent and operating nationwide using football as a catalyst to improve the lives of vulnerable and homeless young people across the country.
TO HELP END YOUTH HOMELESSNESS THROUGH THE POWER OF FOOTBALL.
Our nationally acclaimed flagship ‘Street Soccer Academy’ provides a 10-week learning and development programme for 16-24 year olds (male and female) delivered at our Football Club partner venues, offering selected young participants a fusion of:
Professional football coaching
Growth mindset training
Employability-driven ‘Skills to Succeed’ workshops: All to enable course participants to be ready and able to move into Work, Education or Further Training on successful graduation.
We also operate The Street Soccer School programme delivered at partnering Primary and Secondary Schools over a 10-week period providing vulnerable and dis-engaged Primary and Secondary school students a mix of professional football coaching for health and well-being purposes, in addition to the training of a positive mindset, to help build confidence, self-belief, aspiration and emotional intelligence. Changing attitudes and behaviours to effect positive future outcomes.
Fundamentally, both the Street Soccer Academy and School courses use the power of football to help young people want – and be able – to make a change in their lives for the better. The proven impact of both programmes instils greater confidence and self-belief in young people, improves their health and well-being, and empowers participants to take positive action, encouraging individuals throughout to reach their goals, both on and off the pitch, and to inspire others to do the same.
