Set in the heart of Kent, Mercure Tunbridge Wells Hotel provides a stunning location for your event or getaway.  The hotel is well located, with easy access and is about three miles from the famous Kent town of Royal Tunbridge Wells. The hotel was built in 1991 but in a traditional style of Oast house which can be found scattered throughout the Kent countryside, so that you are hardly aware from the exterior you are at a hotel.

Throughout the year, the hotel has become home to the best cabaret nights in town, from comedy nights, tribute acts and murder mysteries to our ever so popular comedy dining nights, so please do have a look at our calendar of events.

The Mercure Tunbridge Wells offers  8 function rooms for you to host your perfect meeting or event and we have a variety of different packages to help you celebrate in style with family and friends .  Whether it be a milestone celebration, wedding, celebration of life, christening, an intimate gathering or any other special occasion, we have it covered.  We are able to offer bespoke packages to your particular needs so if there is anything else you would like, please do let us know.  We know that every event is different and we specialise in making your ideas into a reality.  We are a flexible venue and are happy to discuss all the little details that will make your day so memorable.

The hotel prides itself on providing excellent service, warm and friendly staff and exquisitely presented fresh food. We will do everything we can to meet and exceed your expectations.

Our Park side Suite can cater for events from 50 -120 people or enjoy the building’s historic, Georgian charm with our Park Avenue or Park Square Suites for more intimate gatherings.

The Mercure Tunbridge Wells hotel offers 84 comfortable rooms, restaurant, bar, complimentary Wi-Fi and there is also a swimming pool, sauna and steam room; plus 200 onsite car parking spaces.

The Mercure Tunbridge Wells hotel is in a great location in the heart of the ‘Garden of England’ and just ten minutes from Royal Tunbridge Wells with its great shopping, old High Street and the famous Pantiles. With attractions such as historic castles, splendid stately homes, churches, fantastic gardens and award winning parks, including the famous Dunorlan Park, all in close proximity to the hotel there is plenty to explore.

We just wanted to say a big thanks to Sophie and all the team at Mercure for helping us organise and make our wedding day extra special. If any one is planning a wedding and not booked yet, I can not recommend this hotel enough. My daughter got married here 21/04/17 and have to say everything went perfectly, from the first meeting with Sophie the wedding organiser, to the special day, nothing was too much trouble. All the staff went above and beyond to make my daughters wedding a very special day to remember, and cannot thank them enough. If I had to do it all again, this would be my first choice. We would especially like to send our compliments to our waitress in your restaurant last night. Chloe’s service and general attitude was above and beyond expectations, especially after a mistake on the kitchens behalf with our food order. She was professional, approachable and courteous throughout our evening. She is, in our opinion, an asset to your hospitality team, who were all welcoming during our stay.

As a result of our stay, we are strongly considering booking for our wedding party, to stay with you when get married.

Dear Nathan, Thank you for your very kind message, I can honestly say that I received nothing but positive feedback from all of our competitors and guests that stayed and enjoyed the hospitality at your excellent hotel. The rooms were comfortable, food was excellent in the evenings, the breakfasts were so good that I think a few anglers missed time fishing on the practice days whilst enjoying tasty food in your restaurant. The packed lunches were very good and were always ready for us each morning. All of your staff were helpful and friendly and a credit to Mercure Hotels. Finally can I mention Sophie Brunger who has been so very helpful throughout the organisation of the event and during our stay at your hotel, she is a credit to the Mercure Hotel group. I had many occasions to change the number of people attending and some adding extra days etc. Sophie was so patient with me over these changes. Thank you also for the raffle prize, the raffle raised nearly £1,600 and that will be put back into Police Sport UK. I can assure you that as a result of the whole experience at your hotel that we will definitely use it next time we hold an event in Kent.

Good Evening,

I have stayed in the Tunbridge Wells Mercure hotel for the last 3 months due to work commitments. I wanted to recognise the whole team and will do upon my last visit in approximately another week.

However there is one member of staff that I have received exceptional service from since I arrived and I feel he should get special recognition. His Name is Tom S and he has worked in the bar area and has always looked to go above and beyond for myself and a colleague that have stayed at this hotel. It is easy to complain when service is bad but not everyone will recognise world class service. Tom is a credit to your business and you should ensure to keep him employed in what is a fantastic team.

Dear Sophie,

Just a quick email to thank you for all your help in putting together our event last weekend. John did a superb job on the night and feedback from all our guests was unanimously positive about the quality of the food and the enjoyable evenings that we had on Friday and Saturday. We had a great time.

Thanks also for the generous gift of an overnight stay as a raffle prize. It was much appreciated and helped us raise just over £500 from the raffle alone. All the money will go the SWAT charity, providing support to homeless people in Central London.

Just wanted to let you know that my stay at Mercure hotel in Tunbridge Wells was absolutely fantastic.

The staff were really friendly and nothing was too much trouble , the room and general areas were clean and parking wasn’t a problem. We had a meal in the restaurant and the choice was excellent and the food was hot and very tasty the breakfast the following morning was just as good.

We purchased our stay with woucher and can honestly say I don’t know how you can give a really good offer at that price.

Thank you again, we will definitely be returning to you again in the near future.

Very helpful Patrick was, we got everything we needed quickly and with politeness and friendliness.

Flexibility and responsiveness to your needs - excellent, we only wanted a couple of easy tings and they were delivered promptly.

Good morning John, Tasha and team.

I would like to give you some feed back after my party on 7th June.

All through the organisational process, the communication and planning has been simple and well organised.
All questions and queries were dealt with, with minimum bother.

During the setting up of the room, I was consulted and could offer any preferences that I might have needed.
I was largely unnecessary as the room was laid out beautifully.

The event started with a minor problem when the first of my 75 guests started to arrive and they, along with your other hotel guests, found that there was only one member of the bar staff available to serve.
This was quickly rectified, more staff were called and everybody was able to order their drinks.

Thereafter, everything was perfect.
Under the stewardship of John, the serving staff were brilliant.
The food was served with speed and efficiency and the table waiters responded to drinks orders brilliantly.

The quality of the food was excellent - compliments to the chef and his team.
Virtually all of my guests made positive comments.

After midnight, when the guests who were staying at the hotel retired to the bar, there was always staff available to respond to our needs – wonderful.

In summary, all of the Events staff involved in my party should be congratulated, and thanked for making the evening a roaring success.
