Who Are We? Superheros, Business Owners, Husband And Wife

Who are we? We have been a member of the Chamber for about 2 years not and I thought it would be a good idea to introduce ourselves.

We are Laura and Barry and we met when we were 3 and 4 years old (yes when we were 👶🏻’s).

We then reconnected years later and have been together for 22 years and married for 18 years.

Together we run Rock Solid Health which has been running for 10 years this year.

Rock Solid was born out of crisis when I was medically retired from the Police Force where I was a Police Officers and Counter Terrorism Intel Officer.

Baz left his job as a Prison Officer specialising as a Physical Training Instructor in the Prison Service and joined me. We have never looked back!

We have 4 cats – 3 Maine coons and 1 Norwegian.

We have alter egos and a sideline called OurSuperHeroLife where we dress up as Superman and Wonder Woman and raise money and do work for various children’s Charities.

We also have a bit of fun with it at Comic Cons and were featured last year on the billboards for MCM Comic Con in London.

We both love to workout and do CrossFit together as well, as live and work together.

We never argue about work or family life, because life is too short.

The work we do at Rock Solid Health is our life’s work. It’s a pleasure to help people feel stronger, fitter, healthier and enjoy life.

Seeing our clients live their best life (yes I did just pull that 90’s saying out of the bag) and be fulfilled and be able to both work AND live simultaneously in harmony is a BLESSING!
