CORPORATE CHARITY GOLF DAY IN AID OF HOSPICE
Interior refurbishments company, RAP Office Contracts, is holding a charity golf day at Boughton Golf Club on Wednesday 14th July to raise funds for The Heart of Kent Hospice.
The event is open to both existing corporate supporters of the Hospice, as well as new businesses who may wish to get involved and support the local charity. Companies are asked to make a charitable donation of £100 per person or can enter a 4 ball team for £300, and perhaps use this opportunity to entertain clients.
The event offers an opportunity to network with other businesses and will include a game of golf and evening meal with a live charity auction and raffle. Organisers of the event would also be grateful to receive any donated items for the auction and raffle.
For those who cannot attend but would like to contribute to the charity, why not individually sponsor a hole for just £50 to have your company’s name displayed at the hole and on the menu card for the early evening meal. Alternatively, you could sponsor the comedian or auctioneer for the evening for just £300.

The Heart of Kent Hospice is the local hospice caring for terminally ill people and their families from Maidstone, Tonbridge and Malling, and surrounding area. The Hospice is a specialist palliative care unit whose purpose is to provide expert care and support for patients with advanced cancer, motor neurone disease, or other life- threatening illnesses where curative treatment is no longer possible. At any one time the Hospice cares for approximately 350 patients through its range of services, including In-Patients Unit, Day Therapy, Family Services and Community Services.
Care and support is also given to families of the patients, including their children. Hospice care is free to those who need it, and this year £3 million is required to cover running costs, and with only 29% generated from statutory funding we continue to be heavily dependent on the generosity of our local community.
