Posted on Tuesday 7th June, 2016 by

The European Commission has announced plans to support business owners and consumers to make the most of the EU Single Market via cross-border e-commerce.

To this end, the Commission has set out a package of measures to allow individuals and firms to buy and sell products and services more easily and confidently across the EU.

The package outlines three key objectives: making cross-border parcel delivery more affordable and efficient, increasing consumer trust in e-commerce, and preventing geoblocking and other forms of discrimination in terms of access to fair prices, sales and payment conditions.
