Free Environmental Workshop for Businesses in Ashford

Small and medium sized businesses across Kent are invited to attend an upcoming Steps to Environmental Management (STEM) workshop.

Ashford Borough Council’s Greenov Project and Kent County Council’s South East Business Carbon Hub have teamed up to produce this half-day introductory workshop. It takes businesses step-by-step through the first level of the STEM certification scheme.

After the workshop attendees will have documentation to take home, receive a certificate and will be registered on the STEM Registry.

The workshop will cover:
• Management commitment
• Baseline assessment of business
• Significant environmental impacts
• Draft Environmental Policy
• Data collection
