BCC International Trade Conference, Exporting is Good for Britain – October 24th 2012, London

As part of the development of the BCC’s international trade strategy we will be holding the first BCC International Trade Conference on the 24th October 2012 in London.

Aim of the conference

The conference will bring together high growth exporters from around the Chamber network to provide them with practical advice, insight and connections as they build their global businesses.

Theme

The conference will cover key themes such as:

• Entering new markets, where are the opportunities?
• Utilising technology for export growth
• Financing your international expansion
• Building a global business, what does it take to be successful?

Overseas Chambers and Trade organisations

Throughout the day ‘clinic’ sessions will be run with international Chambers, trade organisations and others involved in international trade delivery. This will enable your members to get practical support and advice about entering new markets.

Speakers

The conference agenda will feature CEOs of FTSE 100 companies who have built global businesses, through to inspirational stories from smaller and midsized companies who have had success internationally.

As part of the day we would like Chamber members who actively export to share their ‘war stories’ with the audience, and I would be grateful for any suggestions of companies that we could invite to participate on panel discussions during the day.

Hold the date

Please hold the 24th October in your diaries. Further details on the conference will be communicated in the coming months.
