It is well documented that physical activity and exercise can help people stay healthy and independent as they get older. Those that lead sedentary lives are paying a high price for their inactivity with higher rates of falls, obesity and heart disease amongst other things, compared with the general population.
The Kent Cricket Senior Cricket Programme which is run by the Kent Cricket Community Team, gives the over 50’s the opportunity to stay fit and active through cricket in a competitive and social environment.
