Tonight I experienced my very first After Hours Club at the Croft Hotel in Kennington and can now understand why they are so popular!
The Croft Hotel is the perfect location for the After Hours Club and the friendly staff could not be any more accommodating to our needs. The owners of the Croft Hotel have also been kind enough to sponsor the After Hours Clubs that have taken place there, meaning everyone gets a complimentary glass of wine or soft drink and some of the most delicious pizza I have ever tasted! (I can now see why Amanda looks forward to her After Hours Club so much every month!)
The atmosphere at the After Hours Club is very laid back and friendly - perfect if you have never attended any of our Networking Events before, or are a new member wanting to be eased in gently. Amongst all of the new faces, it was nice to see some that I recognised supporting the event, giving the evening a good mixture of attendees. Although delegates are not "forced" to stay the entire length of the evening, it was lovely to see that the majority of the guests did and even when I left at 7.30pm, people were still there! This clearly shows me how much of a success these evenings are so we must be doing something right!
